Japanese Guns: Assembly!

This post will describe how to assemble the Type 41 75mm Regimental Gun. The same instructions can be followed to assemble the Type 92 70mm Battalion Gun and the Type 94 37mm Rapid-fire Gun, as they all consist on the same parts.

Each gun blister contains parts to build two guns, gun crew, command team, observer team (except the Type 94) and the needed bases. The guns are divided in five parts: the main body, the cannon, the shield and two wheels.

Different parts of the Type 41 gun.

The parts are sharp and need small cleaning. They have male and female pieces that make it easy to assembly, but some parts are tricky so it is better to be careful. First, glue the cannon to the main body.

The next step is to glue the shield to the body. Be careful to fix the shield in a position that forms a realistic angle with the body.

Finally, glue the wheels to the body, also carefully so as they stay in a vertical position.

In about five to ten minutes, the two guns can be assembled and ready to prime. In following points I will show how I painted and based the guns as well as post nice pictures about the three kind of guns mentioned in this post.
